The likes of Thor, the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain American, and others were lucky enough to get their own movies and get the ball rolling. For many years before the Avengers were assembled together, the first independent films made their way to the big screen. They first appeared in a series of comics that were published by Marvel. The origins of The Avengers wasn’t on film, though. The first “Avengers” movie was just the 12th movie all-time to reach $1 billion in ticket sales. At least it’s among the most popular, each movie breaking all kinds of records at the box office, the latest one, End Game, surpassing the highest-grossing movie of all time. Marvel’s “The Avengers” is perhaps the greatest movie franchise going today.
